This is an adorable vintage Myles Original of Miami black Lucite
box purse with a beveled mirror inside the lid.
Gold tone brass flip up ball latch in excellent working order
and is as bright and shiny as the day it was made: All the metal fittings are in super good condition.
The bottom of this
purse had only 3 original feet and we have replaced/matched a new one to make it a perfect four. If you wish
a picture of the bottom, please email and I will send a picture of the matched foot.
It is stamped Myles
Original of Miami on the inside with gold lettering.
Very light use marks: No chips, cracks, clouding, warping, odor, or scratches.
This
bag was well taken care of and is in very good condition, although it has been used, loved and appreciated; when turned to
the light there are light use scratches, so it is not perfect but looks very good with nice shine all over. If you are looking
for absolute perfection, this is not for you.
No discoloration,
clouding or odors anywhere. The white 'line' on the body of the purse in picture #4 is a reflection of my arm not a flaw.
The one flaw, if it is a flaw, is that the lid, on the sides only, is not
quite flush with the sides of the purse body; the front is flush and I have seen this same condition in other Myles Lucite
purses, so I believe the purse is built this way to accomodate the hinge that runs along the entire backside
of the purse. I don't believe it is warping but rather is the construction of this bag. The air space is even on both sides
( 1/8" on each side ) that attests to this and is shown in picture # 4 and can be seen in picture #1. I
mention this because some people may be bothered by this. I am not, as I know it is how this bag was constructed.
A perfect small, feminine
size to easily hold your cell phone, cosmetics, credit cards, keys, pen, etc. for an evening out or luncheon date.
A real cutie!
