Uniquely patterned white pearlized Lucite ladies 1950's
handbag by Wilardy that picks up pastel colors in the light.
The only way I can
think of to describe the pattern in the purse is to liken it to a pearlized deco snake skin pattern.
This bag is quite
unique because the body of this bag, front, back and bottom, are all one piece of lucite with no seams, that folds up
to form a tear drop shape. The only seams are on each end and of course the spring lid is attached with brass
hinges.
The lift up spring-loaded lid is scalloped along the lower
edge and in the center is a gold tone jeweled decoration with multi colored rhinestones.
All sides are in
excellent condition.
Even turned into the light, I cannot find a scratch! (Well,
maybe faint bottom use marks - that is all.)
No chips, cracks, clouding,
warping, odor, or scratches.
I consider this a rare Lucite purse as I have seen very few of
these.
This beautiful purse is in mint clean condition. I can find no flaws.
