Cute 1940's Retro signed Clover Lane ladies' black hat with black veil and black feathers.
Overall construction of the hat consists of circular layers of loose, silky black oval petals, much like the reverse of a large flower; each subsequent  layer becoming smaller as it reaches the top of the crown.
The black velvet covered wire construction allows this hat to fit every head with the wire grips on each side.
The veil has a large tear on the right side and can be seen in the photos.
It does not detract and could perhaps be fixed by a knowledgeable seamtress.

Adorable vintage hat!

Condition: Excellent Vintage - A sizeable tear in the veil.  
Measures:  8½" Overall Diameter - One size fits all.
