Deep wine red enamel vintage English Stratton compact featuring an exotic pheasant
in greens & gold enamel.
Extremely
faint marks on the top if turned to the light, but it is so minimal.
I would call the enamel near perfect.
The frosted beveled mirror does have light spotting in a circle around the edge which cannot
be seen in the photos.
Nice detail on this compact, and good quality as with all
Stratton compacts.
The insides are clean and in good condition, but there is
no powder puff.
Lid snaps well
and works well.
Bottom is in wonderful
condition.
Most lovely exotic bird
compact for the discerning collector.
