This nice vintage, 1950's Charles S. Kahn of Miami box purse, in a honey
gold Lucite is in near mint condition.
The inside is clean, free of any damage and only contains the
Kahn paper label.
The brass three ball latch is shiny, bright and works perfectly.
All the clear Lucite on
this purse is bright, clear and undamaged; that includes the lid, the bottom and the handle. The clear Lucite lid has
carved floral embellishment as does the horseshoe handle.
The outside looks near mint with bright matte gold finish.
No chips, cracks, clouding, warping, odors, or scratches. I can only see the bare minimun of faint use marks. This purse is
a fine specimen!!
Even the bottom has very
few use marks.
The last picture, against the dark background,
best represents the true color of this fine purse.
The small, but roomy, size of this
bag is delightful as Lucite purses go. Perfect for day or night, its size speaks well of those who designed this bag; small
enough to be practical with out being big and over whelming to carry. It's just perfect!!
This purse is in very nice shape, was well
cared for and loved.
