Carved Wood & Lucite Horse Head Brooch

Vintage handcarved horse head pin made of wood with clear lucite mane. Red plastic eye.

The clasp finding is not glued, it is attached with two pins, that go into the wood, which you can see in the photo. No glue. It has a little brass 'eye' screw near the top which holds the lucite mane on. The lucite mane also has two 'nails'/pins from the top that go into the mane through to the wood. The c clasp is the locking type.

Quite handsome.
