Black Stone on Gold Mesh Pin

A charming and unique vintage pin made of gold tone metal mesh dangles with a diamond shaped top set with a large black plastic (Lucite?) stone.
I have never seen another pin like this one.
It is pretty and looks expensive, but is not.
Would look lovely hanging at the throat.
