Wonderfully
crafted signed older vintage sterling silver Cinderella's coach & mice pin was made in Taxco, Mexico.
Cinderella must have been late because the coachmen and horses
have turned into mice!
This unusual mechanical brooch
is sure to bring many comments: The wheels turn. The 1½" reins are loose sterling chain.
The nicely designed and detailed festive coach is
hollow and about 3/16" deep, with cut out trimmed windows appearing to have even more depth because of the oxidized
background: You can almost see Cinderella inside!!
Nice detailing throughout; the mouse coachman in front has his tail aligned down on the coach and the mouse
coachman in back has his tail curled up in keeping with the coach design.
The
mice pulling the carriage, with bridles, are much larger, their tails are ribbed and they are running flat out!!
This is two pins in one; the coach is one pin and the mice are
a separate pin connected by silver chain reins.
Very nice, whimsical and unique signed Taxco vintage piece with original patina.
