Whiting & Davis Art Deco Arrowhead Mesh Purse

Vintage Whiting & Davis 1920's Art Deco enamel mesh bag in brilliant colors with unusual arrowhead design.
Lovely gold tone, kiss close frame, with floral design and open work.
Original twist chain handle.
Enamel colors are vibrant red, blue, orange and yellow on a cream background, all in excellent condition.
Slight detachment under hinges.
Unlined.
Both sides in equal condition & color.
Vandyke 'skirt' or fringe.
I call this the 'arrowhead' purse, but it also has Egyptian overtones.
You can view this purse on p. 42 of Schiffer's "Whiting & Davis Purses", 2002.
