These are American Indian 1960's or earlier, handmade, small Zuni Thunderbird
pierced earrings with inlay turquoise, Mother of Pearl, jet and coral set in sterling silver.
The
design of the Thunderbird is in the traditional style.
These earrings were originally screw back
and have been converted to pierced for easy wearing.
The coral in the pictures is not quite as
red as my picture makes it look; rather are a muted true coral color.
These are small sized post
earrings; please be aware of their size. They are most charming.
Well made older traditional Zuni
earrings of good handmade quality with natural stones.
