This
vintage signed Walborg fine petit point scenic handbag has three ladies and two gentleman happily conversing in
a garden.
The stitching on this purse is
very, very fine. I have not tried to count it but it is tiny, tiny.
The gusset is roses and daisies.
Inside is
the original flesh colored silk material with two pockets and Walborg tag.
The gold tone frame
is set with rectangles of Mother-of-Pearl, alternating with petit point rectangles, all hand set in gold tone raised
settings all along the top of the frame.
Each of the three Mother of Pearl stones have fancy tiny
enameled medallions on the tops.
Fancy flip up gold clasp.
Same scene on both sides.
This Walborg bag is well designed and well executed.
It
is in excellent vintage condition, ready to use, with no damage to report beyond normal use.
