Ladies Art Nouveau coin silver folding fruit knife embossed with roses that was carried in the purse.
One blade for cutting and one blade for cleaning nails or used as a nut pick.
These knives were very handy for a large variety of uses; cutting an apple, trimming loose threads, etc.

The term 'fruit knife' was a polite way of referring to a pocket knife for a lady.

Nice rose design and a great collectible to add to your purse collection.
