Dainty, vintage, black Volupte compact
with painted enamel Forget-Me-Nots floral & star type gold tone design.
The catch is much like a good pocket watch, depress the button & open with other hand. Triangular
swinging bail holds a black tassel loop for the wrist.
Inside is the original beveled mirror which is cut out at the top to allow the catch
to grab the lid. It is not broken. You can see where the curved part of the mirror is also beveled. Very unique.
Mirror slightly cloudy. No puff but has screen. No major chips or scratches to outside, but has normal scratching.
Very nice compact in exceptionally nice vintage
condition.
