Art Nouveau lady on wood burned, hand decorated, wood box for storing ladies gloves from days gone by. Victorian lady on the lid and on inside of the lid. The orange lining is felt and is not original.

Nice, collectible wooden box for all types of treasures.

This wood burning process is also referred to as Pyrography, or the art of Pyrogravure. Pyrography is the process of producing designs on wood or leather with heated instuments.
