Vintage compact purses, or Carryalls, were made by such companies as Elgin American, Evans, Revlon, and Stratton covering a time frame from approximately 1940 to the late 1960's. Peak of their popularity was in the late 1940's and 1950's.
 
Most are in excellent condition and any damage is mentioned.
 
Such purses are also known as Dance Purses, Minaudieres, or Necessaires. 
 
Vintage compact purses are fun to own and use, adding to the interest and life of your outfit or display.
