This is an elegant, unique, very small, 1940's vintage black silk box
evening purse with hand embroidered pink roses and accent flowers of the WWII era.
It has a black cord carry handle.
The inside is lined in a white silky material on one side with a pocket all the way across for
lipstick, tickets, etc.
The other side is a full mirror across the purse.
The mirror has some small dark spots attesting to the age of this purse.
One outside corner has a very minor spot (¼") where the material has pulled away
from the seam, however, being black, it is virtually unnoticeable and does not threaten further damage.
I've not seen another purse quite like this one.
It is truly a small work of art and most collectible.
It is absolutely adorable and large enough to hold a cell phone!
