This is a vintage unsigned silver and gold tone triangular design music box powder compact
that I believe plays The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II. It is definately one of the famous classic waltzes.
The center of the lid has a floral scroll design around
one triangle that can be monogrammed.
There are minor scratches on the lid of the compact.
It
still plays music when opened and can be wound up but is a bit slow & has obviously been loved, used and played
many times.
The inside appears unused, complete with sifter and unused
puff.
The mirror is in
very good condition.
There
is no maker's mark.
This music box compact is
circa 1950's.
Condition: Very Good – Used with some scratching to the Bottom & Sides.
