One of the nicest antique opera or theatre Carryall Compact
Purses I've seen.
All original,
complete with everything one needs.
Fold over black watered moire purse with three inside beige pockets; one for
attached large mirror, one for coins with a snap and one for bills or hanky.
Binoculars, lipstick and rouge pill box all fit into their
appointed slots. Each are made from Mother of Pearl that is exceptionally nice reflecting lots of blue, pink and white.
Mirror exhibits minor cloudiness.
Rouge box is empty and clean so is useable
for pills or jewels.
The
outside is black watered moire. I have lightened that photo so design shows.
MOP is in perfect condition; no chips or cracks.
I can't say enough about how lovely
this purse is and the fact that someone used and loved it. Well designed, quality items inside.
Condition:
Fine Original Antique - Some slight wear to moire on purse edge, a few loose threads on inside MOP compartments,
attesting to use.
