M'LADY'S JEWELRY GALLERY Our jewelry gallery features a wide selection of antique, vintage and estate jewelry covering a time frame from the 1800's-1990's. We carefully handpick every piece of jewelry we feature. The jewelry on these pages has been worn, enjoyed and could tell you many tales. As such, all items are used, not new. Please keep that in mind, read descriptions carefully and ask questions. We are happy to send additional pictures to help you select the best possible item. All jewelry is in good wearable, or fine vintage condition. We make every effort to insure every piece is in the best possible condition. Please note: Designer and Ethnic jewelry will also include items that could be listed in other individual areas, such as bracelets, earrings, sets and so on. It is wise to check the Designer and Ethnic/Tribal areas as well as individual types of jewelry. If you are looking for sets, please keep in mind that most sets are also signed, so it would be wise to also check out designer names. AND FINALLY .... There are many, (too many), unsigned, unmarked, high quality designer pieces of jewelry out there; unmarked jewelry may have come in a 'name' box, had 'name' paper tags, or 'name' string tags, all of which were subsequently tossed; or, perhaps never marked if a designer was in early career mode. Miriam Haskell jewelry is a perfect example since much of her jewelry is unmarked. This is also true of many jewelry companies, like Coro, Trifari, Eisenberg, Weiss; almost all have periods of time when their jewelry was unmarked or unsigned. Many jewelry sets & parures had only one or two pieces of the set marked, or signed, with a name; and sets get dispersed. There are many reasons for unmarked jewelry and it doesn't mean they aren't equally worthy of your quest for high quality jewelry, whether fine jewelry or costume jewelry. I've seen and purchased many lovely pieces by searching for 'unsigned costume jewelry'. Don't lose out by insisting on signed, marked jewelry.
